Most of us would like to think we are pretty fair minded especially when it comes to waiting our turn and making sure other people have their turn, but what if what we thought wasn’t quite as accurate as how we actually are?

Most of us love a cup of tea in the afternoon, especially after lunch. It helps us rekindle our flagging spirits and invigorate the soul. But have you ever had proper afternoon tea? And we say proper, we mean have you ever had afternoon tea how the Ritz does it? Silverware, cup cakes, a floral table cloth and bone china cups!

Right from the start tea has been a right royal affair. King Charles the Second’s wife, Catherine, is thought to have made it fashionable to sip tea in the mid 1600s although it came to Britain before then. And that may have helped reduce the consumption of ale, which was already taxed quite heavily, and lead to the tax on tea, or more precisely, to the tax on the coffee houses that sold it.
