Just when we thought we'd heard and seen it all, some "crazy" New Yorker goes and proves us wrong and shows us all how we can help the planet in simple but very effective ways. How? By smashing your coffee cup of course! (After you've drunk it mind you.)

What's in a shape? A lot when it comes to brewing the nation's favourite drink it would seem. Apparently pyramid-shaped tea bags deliver a better taste because of their shape. The triangular structure allows more space for the leaves to infuse more quickly and that delivers a better taste!

Apparently yes, coffee is a fruit, or rather the bean is a fruit, not the drink. So says Tipsy Writer who has compiled a list of nine very interesting facts about coffee. So I guess that means we can count coffee as one of our five-a-day. Yay! ;)

There aren't many countries you can go to these days that don’t have a coffee shop or that can’t rustle up your favourite brew. No matter how far and wide you travel, tea and coffee will be there in some form or other. And to show you just how far tea and coffee have travelled, you only have to look out your window and upwards about 260 miles above the Earth. These refreshing delights have even gone way beyond planet Earth and conquered outer space too!
