Coffee and Coffee Blends

Coffee blending shouldn’t be mistaken for a way to make blends more cost effective; there is a fine art of blending different origin beans to reach a desired taste profile, for example balancing citrus acidity with smooth chocolaty notes that will come through consistently in the cup.

We only use our finest quality single origin beans in our blends, we mix them to formulate taste profiles for a desired taste of a region (for example our Milano blend has a typical Northern Italian flavour) or to work with different water types or milks (both dairy and non-dairy).

Once we have developed a recipe, we will never change it, we are proud that our first espresso blend is the same is it was the first time we developed it over 30years ago.
